It was a very snowy night, so our group was a bit smaller. Kerry, Shelley, Carolyn, Jessica and Michelle were all there.
I had the crab cakes and they were stupendous!
This novel is about an eleven year old girl, Cora winter (lower case w) who struggles with unanswered questions about her life: the father she never knew, and the twin sister she once had. She befriends an elderly immigrant who lives in a nearby trailer and he helps her in her search.
The book was a bit slow and kind of a struggle to finish. I believe we all did finish it though.
