This book is something every free woman should read to understand just how lucky we are and how much freedom means. Islamic women live so differently it's hard to understand, but reading this book does help give a little insight. The author spent 6 years covering the middle east through wars, upheaval and destruction and this book describes her journey in discovering the ways of the women behind the veils.
Not that it matters, but I was there too! Gosh, this is fun!
