If the Buddha Married - December 15th 2004 - 3rd Annual Limo Tour

If the Buddha Married by Charlotte Kasl
Chosen by: Angie
Location: Pad Thai on Grand Ave. in St. Paul

At our last meeting, Angie gave us the title for this book, and little gift bags to aid us in reading this self exploring book. Inside was a candle, incense, tea, and a chinese magnet. Everyone got a different symbol.
Shelley: insight
Kerry: compassion
Jennifer: respect
Jessica T.: patience
Carolyn: courage
Christina: play
Ryan: forgiveness
I don't know what Michelle and Jessica P got :o*
As we read the book, we are to consider our "word" and try to find ways to apply it to our lives and relationships to better ourselves, be present and zen like.

So, then we met at Pad Thai and everyone came to dinner! We had good conversation and went around the table and independently discussed our "words". Everyone really seemed to have taken Angie's task to heart and done some soul searching and looking inward in search of ways to better our lives and relationships. Good idea Ang!

Next, the annual Holiday limo light tour. All of us came except Jessica P and Jennifer. Jen gets married in a few days in Belgium to Karl! Bonvoyage Jen! The limo was a lot of fun. We brought wine and there was the typical complimentary cider and cookies. We cruised around Crocus Hill, Summit Ave, and then over to Inver Grove Heights where the real lights are - gawdy and terrible, but festive and funny all the same. We jumped out and snapped a few pics on the front of people's lawns. We all lined up on someone's steps as our driver commemorated the moment with Kodak ;o) Good friends, good conversation, Christmas music and a little wine - what more does a girl need?
