Location: Joe's Crab Shack - Roseville
We met at Joe's since it was a seafood restaurant. We were all there except Jessica, who is in Vegas with Cody visiting her parents. The pregnant girls, Ryan and Carolyn, are doing well and looking great! Carolyn recently moved into her newly built house in New Prague.
This was a quick read about a middle woman who finds herself unhappy and lost. She goes to her childhood home to help care for her sick mother and to escape from her marriage. She meets a reluctant monk-to-be and has a passionate affair which helps her rediscover herself. We all liked it well enough but I personally got a bit bored toward the end.
